Dear ACMHE family,
We hope this note finds you all grounded and well. Since the announcement of the sun setting of CMind, we have been mourning the thought of losing this beloved community. Yet, in recent days we’ve exchanged our grief for hopefulness as we remembered that ACMHE is the heart of CMind and ACMHE is US! Surely, many of us have been dreaming about how to keep our community intact beyond the life of CMind.
As we know, sometimes the familiar must fade away so that new dreams and possibilities can emerge. With the dissolution of the parent organization WE have the unique opportunity to grow ACMHE into a thriving member-led community and imagine our work anew. We hope you’ll share your dreams and ideas during our virtual Community Circle on July 7, 2022, at 7pm where we’ll discuss the future of the Association for Contemplative Mind in Higher Education.
Central to our roles as CMind leadership, we are devoted ACMHE members. Bring your ideas and dreams so that we may build our Association into the powerful voice of love and liberation that our students, planet, and future deserve. If you are unable to join the call, we invite your thoughts on this brief survey. May we all seek after hopefulness and gracious possibilities in the days ahead. See you on July 7th!
In solidarity and love,
Michelle & Lenwood
