Save the Date for the 2021 ACMHE Conference!
The 2021 Conference of the Association for Contemplative Mind in Higher Education (ACMHE) will be held online November 5-7.
The ACMHE conference is an interdisciplinary forum for all aspects of scholarship and research on contemplative approaches in higher education. It is the largest and longest-running international academic conference dedicated to discussions of contemplative practices in post-secondary contexts. Presentations at the conference might explore topics including, but not limited to:
- Are contemplative methods creating learning environments that engage multiple perspectives, understandings, and needs?
- How can a praxis of care in the academy bolster our understanding of ourselves, our relations, our institutional structures, and our patterns of behavior?
- Are contemplative approaches promoting respect, cooperation, and justice? How can such understanding lead us towards greater equity?
- How do these practices help us move through feelings of loneliness and isolation in our institutions?
More information will be posted on the conference website, acmheconference.org, as it becomes available.
