A special event to support earthquake relief efforts in Nepal

Posted on Jun 4, 2015

If you’re located in the Western Massachusetts area, we hope you’ll consider joining us at the Academy of Music in Northampton, MA, Thursday, June 11th, at 7:00pm for a special film screening to support relief efforts following the devastating earthquakes in Nepal.

When the Iron Bird Flies explores the complex relationship between contemporary Tibetan Buddhism and western culture. Prior to screening the film, a short video update on the situation in Nepal since the earthquake will be shown (edited by the filmmaker, Amber Bemak, who will also be available for a Q & A session via Skype).

The Center for Contemplative Mind in Society is a network sponsor of this event; please help us spread the word among your friends and colleagues!
